BASE PRIMER

I created the Holme Beauty Base Primer after recognising the need for a multi-use, inclusive primer that not only enhances your makeup but also supports and nourishes your skin. As someone who has worked on thousands of incredible faces, I knew exactly what I wanted: a primer that could be worn alone for a radiant glow or used under foundation for longer wear and richer colour payoff. But I also wanted it to improve the skin, not just sit on top of it.

This primer is packed with skin-loving ingredients like Niacinamide, Kakadu Plum, Jojoba Oil, and Vitamin E. It strengthens the skin’s barrier, prevents moisture loss, and boosts radiance. I wanted a formula that provided a soft, silky finish without being tacky or drying—something that would feel as good on the skin as it looks.

The Holme Beauty Base Primer is designed to offer a sheer wash of colour for a natural glow or to be mixed with your foundation to enhance its longevity. It can also be gently pressed into the high points of the face for a subtle, light-reflective finish.

SETTING SPRAY

I designed the setting spray to be misted across the skin at the conclusion of your makeup application. This subtly fragranced mist ensures your makeup won’t move, smudge, or separate until you choose to remove it.

The Holme Beauty Setting Spray is translucent, infused with soft light-reflecting particles that give the skin an incandescent, soft-focus glow, as though it's been caught in golden hour light at any time of day.

KEY INGREDIENTS

PRIMER

Niacinamide: Has anti-inflammatory properties that help calm acne, rosacea, and redness-prone skin. It evens out skin tone by reducing hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and redness. It also smooths skin texture for a more refined look.

Kakadu Plum: One of the richest sources of vitamin C, it brightens skin, evens tone, and protects against pollution and UV damage. Vitamin C supports collagen production for a firmer complexion. Its powerful antioxidants fight free radicals and reduce oxidative stress.

Jojoba Oil: A deeply hydrating oil that mimics the skin’s natural sebum. It absorbs easily without feeling greasy, making it ideal for all skin types. Its anti-inflammatory properties help soothe irritation, eczema, psoriasis, and acne.

SETTING SPRAY

Hyaluronic Acid: A humectant that attracts moisture from the environment to hydrate, plump, and smooth the skin. It enhances hydration and elasticity, helping the skin feel firmer.

Kakadu Plum: One of the richest sources of vitamin C, it brightens skin, evens tone, and protects against pollution and UV damage. Vitamin C supports collagen production for a firmer complexion. Its powerful antioxidants fight free radicals and reduce oxidative stress.

Radicare Gold: Shields skin from environmental stressors like pollution, UV rays, and oxidative damage. It neutralises free radicals, preventing dark spots and inflammation.

Use your lighter Holme Base Primer as your base shade, and darker as your contour, finish with the Golden Hour Setting Spray to lock in your base!

Primer: Using a brush, your fingers or a sponge, apply through the centre of the face and blend outwards, ensuring it hits the highest parts of your face. Wear alone for a natural, fresh glow or underneath your foundation to ensure your foundation glows all day long.

Setting Spray: Ensure you have given the bottle a thorough shake to mix each element of the spray together. Without a good shake, the pearlescent pigments may sit stagnant at the base of the bottle. If you find that the spray is slightly stunted as you apply it, some pigment may be sitting in the nozzle of the bottle. To remedy this, give the nozzle a wipe and another good shake.

To apply hold the bottle 20cm away from the face and spray all over, concentrating on the areas you wish to soften the look of the makeup, set and glow!

Spray liberally (the more powder you’re wearing, the more you spray!) and use the Holme fan to set the spray until it no longer feels wet on the skin.
