Holme Beauty is in search of a Educational Manager with a passion for customer service & makeup to join our dedicated and expanding team in South Melbourne. This unique and exciting role offers 38 hours per week, including 5 days at our South Melbourne Studio.
The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about the beauty industry, possesses excellent communication skills, and exhibits strong skills in educating self appliers on their own makeup application. We are seeking an individual with a strong history in cosmetic retail environments and sales, who is motivated by sales targets and implementing brand strategy.
Our Educational Manager will be forward facing to the public, and experience in beauty retail is required for success in this role.

Role Highlights:
- Manage and coordinate the renowned Masterclass program
- Manage the retail studio and in person customer experience
- Strategise with the marketing team on implementation of educational content to our communities
- Continuous research into industry trends, competitive analysis, and audience preferences for ongoing optimisation of educational strategies
- Analyse Key Performance Indicators, providing insights and recommendations to sales targets.
- Cultivate relationships with our customers and clients
- Assist in educational planning and coordination across Australia and our markets
- Collaborate harmoniously with cross-functional teams, including marketing, PR, customer support, and sales, ensuring a unified brand voice and messaging.
- Extend a warm and friendly welcome to clients during events and in studio
- Educate clients about Holme Beauty's mission and product range.
- Offer personalised makeup recommendations based on Hilary’s guiding principles.
- Align with Hilary's vision and clear strategy roll out
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and presentation standards.
Key to Success:
- Prior experience in educational programs.
- Previous involvement in makeup artistry or application, or in a retail environment
- Profound understanding of makeup, consumer demand and educational needs
- Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, showcasing the ability to communicate the Holme Beauty educational, retail and marketing strategy effectively
- Possess a creative mindset, coupled with a keen eye for artistry and aesthetics.
- Demonstrated organisational prowess, managing multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
- Familiarity with fundamental computer programs and video editing tools.
- Understanding of mental health & safe working environment
- A positive outlook, strong teamwork acumen, and an eagerness to collaborate seamlessly
