Meet The Empowder Duette, a dual-toned pressed powder designed to offer luminosity and long-lasting wear. It’s the perfect addition to your Holme Beauty makeup routine. Inside each compact, you’ll find two options: a universal translucent powder that mattifies, and a sheerly tinted version with a subtle radiance, ideal for those areas of your face where you want a seamless finish to your makeup.

As someone who’s passionate about creating fresh, glowing complexions, I’ve always loved educating my clients on the art of highlighting and contouring to bring out their features in the best possible light - literally. With that in mind, I designed this dual compact to create dimension, offering a much-needed alternative to the drying, flat powders of the past. And for those times when you need a quick, effortless finish, the two shades can easily be swirled together for a one-and-done application.

Whichever way you choose to use it, The Empowder Duette blurs, refines, and provides hydration and comfort. It’s all about enhancing your natural beauty in the most effortless way.

Each compact features dual formulas: a transparent powder and a sheer tinted version. The tinted formulas have minimal pigment to ensure that they work across many skin tones without leaving a white cast.

Currently, the tinted versions are available in Light/Medium and Medium/Dark, which cater to 80% of skin tones. We’re also working on two more shades to cover the lightest and deepest ends of the spectrum, bringing the range to four fully inclusive options.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Sugar-Derived Squalane: Prevents moisture loss. Restores suppleness and flexibility to skin. Improves hydration levels of the skin for a soft, silky feel. Unlike some oils, squalane is lightweight and non-comedogenic, meaning it won’t clog pores. It’s ideal for acne-prone skin, as it hydrates without causing breakouts.

Spherical Silica: Provides a smooth, silky texture to products like primers, foundations, and powders. It helps create a more refined, velvety feel on the skin, making it easier to apply and blend.

Micronised Mineral Pigment: Due to their fine particle size, these pigments adhere more effectively to the skin, resulting in longer-lasting color and reducing the need for touch-ups throughout the day.

Eco-Cert Approved Mica: That doesn't compromise our ethical standards.

Take the powder puff from the bottom of the compact and gently dip it into the translucent shade to use on any areas of the face where you want to firmly knock back shine. This tends to be areas we get oilier first, so for many of us this may be across and just next to the nose, as well as across the forehead and chin. Use a press and roll method to ensure light, smooth application.

Next, take the puff into the sheer tinted section of powder to apply to areas of the face where you’d like a polished look that is a little brighter and slightly less matte, such as across the forehead, the cheeks and chin.

The squared-off powder puff has been specifically designed by Hilary to ensure you can access all angles and hard-to-reach areas of the face, which a traditional round puff can make difficult.
