Created to enhance, Soft Set lays the foundation for effortless, lasting eye looks. This eye primer is formulated with a velvety, high-adherence texture and creates the perfect base for eyeshadow, eyeliner or any product that you put on top. It delivers a subtle, veil-like wash of colour while gripping eyeshadow pigment that you put on top for longer wear and stronger colour payoff. Designed for versatility, Soft Set can be worn two ways, on its own as a creamy eyeshadow or underneath powder formulas to enhance colour vibrancy and hold.
Apply either directly onto the lid or onto the back of your hand & then apply with a brushing. Build up the pigment on the lid by applying the main amount of primer there and softly blending up and over the crease, prior to shadow application. Wear alone for a natural-looking, quick eye look.

Why do I need an eyeshadow primer?
Our Soft Set Eye Primer boosts grip, smooths texture, and extends wear. It's especially helpful on oily lids or in humid weather.
Is it safe for sensitive eyes or contact lens wearers?
The formula is designed with comfort in mind. If you’re reactive or wear lenses, we recommend to start with a patch test.
Is this Eye Primer a clean formula?
We adhere to our Holme Beauty Standard and are at one of the highest levels of ethics, ingredient lists and accessibility in the world.
Can I wear it by itself?
Yes! A really great product for a light, natural look. Easy to use & blend.
Do I need to use a primer?
No necessarily. There hasn't been a client in 20 years Hilary has had that she hasn't used one on. She believes they are the key to longevity, smoothing texture and for getting the best colour payoff of the eyeshadows.
Is it pregnancy safe?
Like all of our products- yes it is!
Will it make my eyelids look dry?
The opposite infact! Infused with Rose and Almond Oil and dual silicas- hydration and smoothness are a key feature.
Would concealer work just as well?
Concealer is formulated to perform a very different task. The Soft Set Eye Primer has two forms of silica in it to absorb excess oil and moisture as well as smooth and adhere- using a concealer to prep the eye will just add bulk to the eye but not necessarily give you the result and desired look you are after.
What is the best brush to use with the Eye Primer?
For best results with the Eye Primer, we recommend applying directly to the lid using the doe-foot applicator and then blending with Brush Seven if you have larger eyes or prefer a fluffier brush, or Brush Eight if you have smaller eyes or want a versatile option that’s great for both pressing and blending.

I have incredibly hooded and oily eyelids, and unfortunately I found that no matter what I did these ended up creasing. I tried it on its own first and found it never really dried down or set. Then tried using my base eye shadow colour one time and then next time a translucent powder + my base eye shadow colour to set it, all with the same result of creasing throughout the day. Obviously I need to do some more trouble shooting and find a method that will work for me and my eyes, but this will also complicate something I was hoping would be a quick and simple solution for me. The colours are great bases to work off though and will suit numerous vibes, so it’s a pity about the priming and added fuss aspect.
