Why do I need to book a time for my shopping experience?

Shopping experiences are available before and after the Masterclass for you to redeem your $50 credit and access the latest Holme Beauty stock, bundles, and curated sets—plus, enjoy 20% off any purchases made on the day.

To make sure you receive personalised assistance with colour matching and shade selection, we ask everyone to book a time slot. The event will be buzzing and busy, so this ensures you get the best experience possible. Doors open at 10am; arriving 5–10 minutes before your booking is recommended.

For best stock selection, book a pre-Masterclass session. If you’d prefer to see the looks first, a post-masterclass session may suit—please note, time and stock may be more limited after the Masterclass.

How do I redeem my $50 credit?

Please look out for an email from us prior to the event containing your $50 gift voucher. You can use it on the day as part of your shopping experience or redeem it online if you prefer. We highly recommend shopping at the event however for the full Holme Beauty experience!

Will there be any food or drink available for purchase?

Of course! Coffee and non-alcoholic refreshments will be available for purchase on the day. We also encourage all attendees to bring their own refillable water bottles to reduce waste. A water tap is available in the kitchenette next to the ballroom for convenient bottle refills.

A selection of sweets will also be available for purchase. For a more substantial option, we recommend pre-ordering a Grazing Box to pick up on the day.  Grazing Boxes cater to various dietary needs and must be pre-ordered – these won’t be available for purchase at the event.

Grazing Box Options:

- Regular Grazing Box (a nut free box made up of a selection of cold meats, cheese, dips, crackers, fruit & dark chocolate)

- Gluten Free Grazing Box (a GF version of the regular grazing box, prepared with separate GF utensils & sealed GF crackers)

If you have any additional dietary requirements not listed above or would prefer to bring your own food, you’re more than welcome to do so, we just ask that you’re mindful of others on the day.

Is it mandatory to pre-order any of the optional extras?

Pre-ordering is optional, but we recommend it for the best experience and convenience on the day. For example, lighting in the hall isn’t ideal for makeup application, so pre-purchasing a selfie-light will help. Purchase of these optional extras will ensure you’re set for the day and can travel a little lighter!

How do I collect my pre-ordered items on the day?

All pre-orders, including Grazing Boxes, will be available for collection on the day. Look out for signage or a Holme Beauty team member who will direct you to Click and Collect. Please have your confirmation ready for our friendly staff.

A limited number of selfie lights, mirrors, and Holme Beauty packs will be available for purchase at the event if you miss the pre-order cut-off. However, stock is expected to move quickly, so pre-ordering is encouraged to secure yours!

What is the cut-off date to order pre-purchased items?

Pre-orders must be placed by Wednesday 19th November at 11:59pm AEDT. If you miss this deadline, please contact customer service to discuss alternative options.

What if something comes up and I can no longer make it on the day?

We get it, life happens! If something urgent comes up, please reach out to our customer service team at welcome@holmebeauty.com and we’ll be happy to help you find a solution

What is your policy on filming or taking photos during the Masterclass?

We completely encourage you to capture content on the day, especially after the Masterclass when you’re looking and feeling your best! Make sure you look out for our media wall which will be ready for happy snaps so that you can capture memories with friends and fellow guests.

During the Masterclass itself, we kindly ask that phones remain on silent and are used discreetly, if at all. Feel free to take quick photos, but please avoid filming while Hilary is presenting. Please see below our sensory guide to give you more of an idea of what you might see, hear of feel in the space on the day. It has been designed to help everyone know what to expect and feel more comfortable and is particularly helpful for people who may be sensitive to sounds, lights, or crowds. Please use this guide to plan ahead and make your visit as enjoyable as possible.

General Atmosphere:

Before the event begins, expect a lively and welcoming buzz as guests chat and explore the space. Once the masterclass starts, the environment will become calm and quiet, with one speaker guiding the session.

Sound Levels:

Arrival area – you may notice moderate to loud crowd noise in the foyer as guests chat and enjoy their shopping experience. Please also note that the venue is located on Hoddle Street, a major thoroughfare, so you may also hear traffic sounds such as cars when near the entrance.

Main event space – During the masterclass, sound levels will be low. Our speaker, Hilary will be presenting with a microphone. To support focus and reduce any microphone feedback, we kindly ask attendees to remain quiet during the session.

Lighting Conditions:

General lighting will be moderate to dim throughout the foyer, retail space and main hall and balcony. There will be no flashing lights or special effects, creating a calm and comfortable experience throughout the event.

Crowd Levels:

Upon arrival you may experience moderate to high crowd levels, particularly close to the start time of the Masterclass.  To enjoy a quieter experience, we recommend arriving earlier in the day and booking an earlier shopping session.

Our friendly Holme Beauty staff and security team will manage a guest line outside the venue to ensure a smooth and safe entry for everyone.

Smells:

Common scents you may notice throughout the day include:

  • Food and drink aromas (including the smell of freshly brewed coffee)
  • Perfume or fragrance from other attendees

Touch/Physical Sensation:

We’ll do our best to keep the temperature comfortable, but you may notice changes in heating or cooling throughout the day.

The masterclass will have classroom-style seating on the lower level and balcony seating above, which may feel close or shared in some areas.
You may also have brief physical contact with Holme Beauty staff when receiving your wristband upon entry.

Quiet Area/Break Zone:

A designated quiet area will be available, with details confirmed closer to the day and delivered via a floorplan. This calm space will include comfortable seating where you can take a moment to rest or decompress at any time.

If you prefer to step outside for a break, you’re welcome to do so — re-entry is allowed with your wristband.

Final Tips for Attendees:

  • Arrive early or book an earlier shopping experience to enjoy a calmer experience
  • Check the floor plan for quiet zones before the event starts
  • If you’d like sensory support or have specific needs, including accessibility seating please let our team know in advance, we’re here to help!
